GOBLIN SLAYER -ANOTHER ADVENTURER- NIGHTMARE FEAST is a premium JRPG that is based on the anime and light novel series, GOBLIN SLAYER. The story unfolds in a fully voiced narrative, expanding upon the rich lore of the story’s fictional universe. Players assume the role of a young girl thrust into the role of guild master after her father's demise, embarking on adventures fraught with peril and intrigue. 

Encountering allies such as the enigmatic "Blood Princess" and unraveling the mysteries surrounding a mystical artifact, players are drawn into a gripping tale of resurrection and redemption. 

Strategy is key

In the heat of battle, tactical prowess reigns supreme as players navigate the intricacies of strategic combat. Positioning units on the battlefield and exploiting terrain advantages are crucial for success, as players must carefully consider the strengths and weaknesses of both allies and foes. The game also includes a difficulty level that’s easy enough for even new players to beat, allowing them a chance at victory.

As previously mentioned, GOBLIN SLAYER -ANOTHER ADVENTURER- NIGHTMARE FEAST offers a fully voiced experience, which allows players to fully immerse themselves in the game’s setting. This serves as a treat for fans of the series as they can truly feel like they’re experiencing the events of the show through their own perspective. However, amidst the immersive narrative and strategic depth lies some disappointment. 

One of the most glaring issues is the game's UI, which is criticized for its basic design, lacking the visual appeal expected from a modern console title. Maneuvering the game’s menus and other integral tools can feel unintuitive, as well. Furthermore, despite the use of official art for the game’s characters, the battle sequences and other visual aspects of the game also fall short of expectations. 

Good but could benefit from improvements

GOBLIN SLAYER -ANOTHER ADVENTURER- NIGHTMARE FEAST offers a compelling blend of storytelling and strategic gameplay, sure to captivate fans and newcomers alike. With its expansive world and diverse cast of characters, the game invites players to embark on an unforgettable journey filled with adventure, danger, and the promise of redemption. In comparison to other anime-inspired titles like One Piece Odyssey, however, its visuals and UI aren’t too impressive.
